U okviru projekta "Prediktori akademskog uspjeha djece osnovno-školske dobi", a koji je implementirao Pedagoški fakultet Univerziteta u Sarajevu objavljen je rad "Identifying predictors of reading speed and reading comprehension in Bosnian" u prestižnom naučnom časopisu Applied Neuropsychology: Child.

Naučno-istraživačka djelatnost, kao jedan od stubova akademske izvrsnosti, predstavlja  prioritet kojem se posvećuje velika pažnja na Pedagoškom fakultetu. Naši nastavnici, zajedno sa studentima, provode veoma značajna istraživanja u edukacijskim i srodnim naukama. Pedagoški fakultet nastoji da uključi studente svih ciklusa studija u naučno-istraživačke projekte. Posebno smo ponosni na činjenicu da su neki naši studenti već objavili radove koji su indexirani u Web of Science bazi.

Rezultati našeg naučno-istraživačkog rada su prepoznati na Univerzitetu u Sarajevu, te je Pedagoški fakultet za 2017. i 2018. godinu dobio priznanja Univerziteta u Sarajevu za Izvrsnost u naučno-istraživačkom radu.
